MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP LUNCHEON:

Mark your calendars, the annual Joint luncheon with AFCEA will be held January 26th at Bellecourt Manor. Details will be released early January 2017.
The Annual Saint Louis University Supply Chain Consortium Distinguished Speaker Series has been postponed until early 2017. An update will be posted as soon as a new date has been finalized.
6th Annual Holiday Toy Drive
Our chapter has partnered with Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services to bring joy to children this holiday season. Wish lists cards will be available at the December Membership luncheon, and if you are a company wishing to participate, please email us at
and we will provide you with all the specifics. All donations benefit children who received services from PCHS.
GOLF COMMITTEE NEEDED!!!
Chapter 82 is looking for an overall golf committee chair to coordinate the efforts of three subcommittee leads. The subcommittees are; Corporate Sponsors, Golf Coordination (golfers and venue) and Donations (raffle and prizes). We are also in need of people to volunteer for each of the subcommittee lead positions. Please contact a Chapter Officer if you are interested in one of these positions. THANK YOU!!
Thanks to your support and patronage, we were able to award $22,000 to 7 highly talented students interested in supply chain career fields.
Miles Scholarship (Top Chapter Dependent Applicant) $4,000
O’Fallon Township HS
Will attend the University of Minnesota and study computer engineering
Essay – Addresses a desire to build systems that will factor cost, size, locations, and other variables to optimize the most effective means for transportation
Stanford Scholarship (Top Overall Applicant) $4,000
Neuqua Valley HS
Will attend Purdue University and study computer science
Essay – Wrote to the need to develop efficient self-driving vehicles to facilitate distribution of goods worldwide
Red Hill HS
Will attend Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and study aeronautical engineering
Essay – Addressed the need for logistics support of space travel
St. Charles, MO
Orchard Farm HS
Will attend the University of Kansas and study supply chain management
Essay – Wrote to a speaker that sparked his interest in and subsequent desire to study supply chain management
Will attend the University of Missouri Science & Technology and study mechanical engineering
Essay – Wrote to a desire to contribute to the design of improved prosthetics to improve quality of life for individuals to strive and satisfy their desire to contribute to society
Fairview Heights, IL
Will attend St. Louis University and study finance
Essay – Addresses the need to have and maintain economically efficient transportation systems to minimize the cost of goods
Current College Student - $2,500
Attends the University of Miami
Essay – Addresses the requirement to have mobile assets capable of providing medical care in austere locations
Trade School - $1,500
Marion County R-2 HS
Will attend the State Technical College of Missouri to get heavy equipment certification
Essay – Spoke to the need to maintain our highway infrastructure
